Calorie Calculator app — privacy policy

This policy explains how the Calorie Calculator Android app handles information. It applies to the mobile application published under package com.zubaer.caloriecalculator.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Who we are

The app is provided by Md. Zubaer Ahammed (Zubaer). For privacy questions, email contact@zubaer.com or use the contact page. Contact

What the app stores on your device

Calculations, history, favourite foods and exercises, and preference settings (units, formula, macros, and similar) are stored only on your device. The app does not create an account and does not sync this data to our servers.

What we do not collect

We do not operate a login system for this app. We do not receive your calculation history, body measurements, or day-plan favourites on our own infrastructure.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows advertisements through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect device and advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction data to deliver and measure ads. In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and similar regions, a consent form (UMP) may appear so you can manage advertising preferences where required by law.

Analytics and crash reporting

If analytics or crash reporting SDKs are enabled in a given build, they may collect technical diagnostics (for example app version, device model, and stack traces) to improve stability. They are not used to identify you personally for marketing by us.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Wellness disclaimer

Calorie, BMI, BMR, TDEE, macro, and day-plan suggestions are for general wellness education. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Your choices

  • Clear app storage or uninstall the app to remove on-device history and preferences.
  • Use the in-app consent options (where shown) and your device advertising settings to limit personalised ads.
  • Contact us if you have a privacy request relating to this app.

How to request data deletion

Calorie Calculator (Android, package com.zubaer.caloriecalculator) stores calculation history and preferences only on your device. We do not hold an account profile for this app on our servers.

  1. To delete on-device data: open Android Settings → Apps → Calorie Calculator → Storage → Clear storage (or uninstall the app).
  2. To request help with a privacy or deletion question, email contact@zubaer.com and include “Calorie Calculator Android” in the subject. We will respond within a reasonable period.
  3. Advertising data processed by Google AdMob is subject to Google’s ads and privacy controls (device ad settings and Google Account ads settings where available).

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or advertising practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
