ZubQuant — Post-Quantum Encryption & Zero-Knowledge Vault
Protect your WordPress forms, confidential customer submissions, user passwords, and admin security logs with NIST-standardized Post-Quantum Cryptography (FIPS 203 ML-KEM-768 + X25519 Hybrid X-Wing) and true Zero-Knowledge architecture — so even if your database is hacked, nobody can read your data without your Master Safe Password.
Supporting on Patreon is optional and does not unlock plugin features.
What it does & why quantum safety matters
Hackers and bots are stealing encrypted website backups TODAY ("Harvest Now, Decrypt Later") to crack traditional RSA/ECC encryption with Quantum Computers—and traditional WordPress plugins leave their decryption key exposed inside wp-config.php. ZubQuant acts like a steel drop-box safe: your server only holds the locking key, and only your Master Password unlocks data inside your browser.
- Auto-Protect Existing Forms Automatically seals submissions from Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor Forms, Ninja Forms, and Fluent Forms into your Zero-Knowledge Vault.
- IETF X-Wing Hybrid KEM Combines NIST FIPS 203 ML-KEM-768 lattice encapsulation + RFC 7748 X25519 + authenticated AES-256-GCM envelopes.
- Zero-Knowledge Server Vault Your WordPress database never holds the raw decryption key. Even if MySQL and wp-config.php are stolen together, every capsule stays unreadable.
- Password Quantum Shield Upgrades legacy MD5 ($P$) and basic bcrypt user accounts on login to NIST FIPS 202 SHA3-512 + Memory-Hard Argon2id (64 MB) signed with ML-DSA-65.
- Admin Secret & API Key Vault Lock your own confidential notes, API keys, and recovery codes inside the Quantum Safe, plus export offline JSON backups in one click.
- ML-DSA-65 Intrusion Audit Log Signs and hash-chains (SHA3-256) admin logins, failed logins, user registrations, role changes, and plugin events with NIST FIPS 204 ML-DSA-65.

Frequently asked questions
Post-Quantum encryption, Zero-Knowledge storage, existing forms, password hardening, recovery kits, and performance.
What is Post-Quantum Encryption and why does my WordPress site need it today?
Traditional public-key encryption (RSA and Elliptic Curve Cryptography) relies on math problems that future Quantum Computers running Shor's Algorithm will break in seconds. Threat actors are already conducting "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" attacks—stealing website backups and databases today so they can decrypt them later. ZubQuant uses NIST FIPS 203 (ML-KEM-768) lattice cryptography combined with X25519 so your stored form submissions and customer data remain safe against both classical hackers and future quantum computers.
How is ZubQuant different from normal WordPress database encryption plugins?
Standard WordPress encryption plugins use symmetric AES encryption and store the decryption key in wp-config.php or the options table. That means anyone who compromises your web host, steals a full site backup, or exploits a file-read vulnerability immediately gets both the lock AND the key. ZubQuant uses asymmetric Zero-Knowledge encapsulation: your WordPress server only holds the Public Locking Key (zpq1_pub_...). The server literally cannot decrypt the data it stores.
Do I need to understand cryptography to set up ZubQuant?
Not at all. We designed a 60-Second Guided Setup specifically for non-technical site owners. You simply pick a Master Safe Password, click "Activate Quantum Protection Now", and ZubQuant automatically generates your keys, locks your private key vault, downloads your Emergency Recovery Kit (.txt), and creates a ready-to-use confidential contact form page.
How does ZubQuant work with Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor, Ninja, and Fluent Forms vs. the [zubquant_secure_form] shortcode?
ZubQuant gives you two ways to protect form submissions: (1) Automatic 3rd-Party Form Shield: If you already use Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor Forms, Ninja Forms, or Fluent Forms, you don't have to change anything—ZubQuant automatically hooks into every submission on the server and seals a quantum-encrypted copy (X-Wing ML-KEM-768 + X25519 + AES-256-GCM) into your Vault. Since Contact Form 7 does not store database entries by default, ZubQuant Vault automatically becomes your zero-knowledge encrypted CF7 inbox (and for other form plugins, you can disable their plaintext DB entry saving in their settings so only the quantum-sealed copy remains). (2) Standalone Browser-to-Browser E2EE Form ([zubquant_secure_form]): Paste [zubquant_secure_form] on any page when you want a dedicated confidential contact form that encrypts the visitor's message inside their own browser (zubquant.browser.js) before the HTTP request even reaches your server.
Are standard WordPress passwords quantum-safe, and how does ZubQuant protect them?
Legacy WordPress accounts (pre-6.8) use 8,192 rounds of MD5 ($P$), and even WordPress 6.8+ uses basic 4 KB bcrypt—both of which are vulnerable to GPU farms and weakened quadratically by Grover's Quantum Search Algorithm. ZubQuant includes a built-in WordPress Password & Login Quantum Shield (the first tab in ZubQuant Safe) that automatically upgrades accounts on login to NIST FIPS 202 SHA3-512 pre-hashing + Memory-Hard Argon2id (64 MB) and signs every password hash with NIST FIPS 204 ML-DSA-65 to prevent SQL-injection hash tampering, while keeping wp_users 100% compatible if you ever deactivate the plugin.
What is included in ZubQuant Free vs. ZubQuant Pro?
ZubQuant Free gives every WordPress site complete Post-Quantum protection for forms (CF7, WPForms, Elementor, Ninja, Fluent, and [zubquant_secure_form]), the WordPress Password & Login Quantum Shield (SHA3-512 + Argon2id + ML-DSA-65), the Admin Secret & API Key Vault, and the ML-DSA-65 Signed Security Audit Log. ZubQuant Pro adds the 6-Pillar Enterprise & E-Commerce Suite: (1) WooCommerce Checkout & HPOS Order PII Sealing + GDPR Auto-Scrubbing, (2) Quantum-Sealed Encrypted File & Document Drop-Box ([zubquant_pro_file_dropbox]), (3) Multi-Admin Team Access & Revocable Key Envelopes, (4) Automated .zpq1 Quantum Backups & ML-DSA-65 Signed SIEM Webhooks, (5) Bulk Legacy MD5 ($P$) Password Force-Upgrade Policy, and (6) Executive ML-DSA-65 Signed Compliance Attestation Certificates.
How does ZubQuant Vault handle hundreds or thousands of encrypted messages?
The Vault & Messages tab is organized as a dedicated, high-capacity inbox with server-side SQL pagination, customizable page sizes (15, 25, 50, or 100 entries per page), source filtering (Forms, Admin Secrets, WooCommerce Orders, File Drop-Box), hybrid search (server-side DB search + instant in-browser decrypted text filtering), bulk selection & bulk delete, and 1-click sample demo cleanup.
What happens if I forget my Master Safe Password?
Because ZubQuant is 100% Zero-Knowledge, neither WordPress nor ZubQuant has a backdoor to reset your Master Password. However, during setup ZubQuant automatically downloads an Emergency Recovery Kit (zubquant-recovery-kit.txt) containing your offline Emergency Recovery Key (zpq1_sec_...). You can paste that recovery key directly into the Unlock Safe box anytime to unlock your messages, or use the Advanced Setup option to set a new password.
Does ZubQuant require any C extensions or slow down shared hosting?
No. ZubQuant runs in 100% pure PHP 8.1+ (using native 64-bit integer arithmetic and OpenSSL for AES-256-GCM / X25519) and pure browser JavaScript (WebCrypto). It has zero impact on normal page views—encapsulation only runs when a form is submitted (~2ms), and decryption runs locally inside your browser.
What if I deactivate or uninstall the plugin?
Deactivating the plugin keeps your encrypted vault entries, settings, and user logins 100% intact so you never lose data or get locked out. Deleting the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen cleanly removes plugin options.
